Welcome to Bordershow
We are situated in Canungra Qld with our show team of ponies. Our other property is in Tenterfield NSW where most of the breeding and young stock are. We have breeding ponies for 10 years now, slowly and carefully building our stud with the right ponies that are true to type and have many qualities to use for breeding.
We have been showing and riding for many years previously to breeding, competing successfully with ponies, a galloway (Congarinni Carnival) and my beautiful hack Rozzie (Helden Park Centrefold) who is still with us at age 21 . We have our stallions at stud and usually have ponies avaliable for sale. Our ponies are know for their temperament and trainability. We aim to produce Royal Quality Ponies that are suitable for children. Our senior Riding Pony stallion Falconhurst Boy Blue is well known for his progeny that are winners at National level.
2009 saw the first year of foals born to our imported Welsh stallions. These boys are crossing exceptionally well to our mares and we are looking forward to start showing the foals.
2010 is the first year we have shown progeny from Bordershow The Tempter, our Fairley Tempest (imp) son and his daughter Bordershow Symphony is already a champion at her second show.
We have been Breeding Border Collies for 20 years and our dogs have excelled in many arenas, being the show ring, obedience and working dog homes and especially as a loving family pet.
Our dogs are first and foremost our pets and live in the house and on the verandah as well as having a huge backyard to run around in.
